Official TERA Forum Rules

We have created the following rules for you to use while participating on all official En Masse Entertainment forums. They are by no means all inclusive. We reserve the right to take appropriate actions if we feel any post, thread, or comment is, in the sole discretion of the En Masse Community team, inappropriate for our forums or sites, even if it is not specifically called out in these guidelines.

Violations of the community guidelines can lead to disciplinary action against your forum account, including but not limited to the permanent removal of your forum privileges and/or game account (Banning). Because every situation is different, all enforcement and application of the community guidelines are at the discretion of the En Masse Community Team. These rules are subject to change without notice; please review them regularly.

Participating on the official forums is a privilege granted by En Masse Entertainment, not a right, and may be revoked for a temporary or permanent duration. For more information, please consult our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Be respectful to all members and staff when posting.
No flaming or personal attacks against forum members or staff. Insulting, abusing, or mocking of members in forum posts is not tolerated. You are welcome to disagree and even debate with other community members. However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them. Such posts will be removed and moderated accordingly. Posts insulting EME and/or BHS staff will also be removed immediately. Personal attacks against staff will come with a 2-week suspension of your posting privileges. A second personal attack against staff will come with permanently revoking your posting privileges.

Do not post racist or 'hateful' material.
This means post which are racist, homophobic, transphobic, misogynist, promotes, or alludes to symbols of racial, ethnic, gender, national, life choice, religious, political hatred or slurs, or derogatory content based on spoken language. Do not post about real world religion or politics. Making hateful comments, directed at a person or group, will result in a permanent forum ban.

Do not post private correspondence.
Do not post PMs (Private Messages), emails, or other private correspondence between you and other forum members, Support Reps, or other EME staff. If you are concerned about the content of a PM that you receive, you should report it to the moderators who take appropriate action. Do not make private information about other users, public. Doxxing forum members or EME staff will result in a permanent ban.

Do not post about illegal Activity
Do not post requesting, arranging, or offering copyright infringement (piracy), illegal activities, or illegal drugs. Do not discussing illegal activity committed personally, nor discussions that violate the TERA Terms of Service.

Spam.
Advertisements for any good, service, or site that is not directly related to The Lord of the Rings Online™ is not permitted and will be removed. Posts promoting sites, goods, and services deemed inappropriate will also be removed as spam. In addition, “Cross posting” without permission, “Bumping” and “Necro posting” are considered forms of spamming and are not permitted.
